Upon clicking the Scan button within the top of the screen, you will be brought to a new screen where a scan is automatically initiated. This scan took approximately 6 minutes on a Dell D600 while other tasks were also being performed.
The display will let you view the;
- Start Time - The time the scan started
- Time Elapsed - How long the scan has been in progress
- Object Scanned - The amount of files that Windows® Defender has already scanned in this instance
- Object - The current file (object) it is scanning
