Having the Ccleaner open you will notice an 'Options' button on the left hand side of your program menu.
Settings - Here you can modify some of the settings within Ccleaner. You can also change the default language if desired.
- Run Ccleaner when the computer starts
- Add "Run Ccleaner" option to Recycled Bin context menu
- Add "Open Ccleaner..." option to Recycled Bin context menu
- Automatically check for updates to Ccleaner
Cookies - In this section you can hand select cookies to keep on your computer when the scanner is running. If you frequent important web sites and want to keep information about them locally on your PC, here is where you can opt to have those cookies saved on your PC. This will result in faster loading times for those web pages.
Custom - Here you can add user defined files and folders for Ccleaner to look for when it is performing scans. The three buttons on the right hand side of the program menu help you specify the files of folders, and also helps you remove files and folders you may have in the list.
Advanced - Here you can modify some of the advanced settings within Ccleaner.
- Only delete files in Windows Temp folders older than 48 hours.
- Hide warning messages
- Close program after cleaning
- Show prompt to backup registry issues
- Show detailed log of Internet Explorer temporary files
About - Displays the original web site that you can locate more information about Ccleaner.
Version History - Displays information about the current version of Ccleaner and it's most recent updates.
