• Scanning With Ewido

To initialize a scan with Ewido, open Ewido and click on the scanner button on the left hand side of the window. We recommend that when scanning with Ewido, you should always run the "Complete System Scan".

Upon clicking "Complete System Scan" it will initiate the scan.

As soon as Ewido finds and infected object, it will bring up another window.

The recommended course of action with the pop-up windows is to make sure that "Create encrypted backup..." and "Perform action with all..." are both checked off. Leave the drop down box with the option "Remove" and click OK.

Upon completion Ewido will notify you of the amount of objects found. You can now re-scan by clicking on "New Scan"; you can save the report from the scan by clicking "Save Report", or view the report by clicking on "View Report".
