The Options Tab within Spy Sweeper allows you to set a variety of options that control how Spy Sweeper sweeps your computer looking for threats. You should review the options before running a sweep to ensure that you are thoroughly protecting your computer from spyware, adware, and other unwanted programs. You can also protect your options by setting up a password. Here you also have the option to update the program, update the definitions, and report new spyware that you may have found on your system.

Program Options - Allows you to directly change options related with the program.
Sweep Options - Options directly related to the scanning that is performed by Spy Sweeper. You can select and de-select folders and or content, such as: Memory, Registry, Cookies, etc... We recommend you let Spy Sweeper scan your entire system.
Schedule - Here you can add a scheduled sweep for Spy Sweeper to scan your computer, even if you are not presently at it. This option only works if the computer is on with Windows running.
Always Keep - Here you can look for the cookies that Spy Sweeper automatically ignores. This is usually modified by the user, although there may be some located there by default from Spy Sweeper.
Always Remove - Here you can look for the cookies that Spy Sweeper automatically removes. This is usually modified by the user, although there may be some located there by default from Spy Sweeper.
