Installing Google Toolbar for Firefox
Google toolbar is not only an efficient way to query the search engine, but also a great start in stopping pop-ups. Which is one of the many causes of receiving spyware. To download the Google Toolbar for Firefox please open Firefox and navigate to the address bar and type in, toolbar.google.com and press enter. |

Once the Google Toolbar page has finished loading you will notice the "new features" are displayed to your left and to install it you simply click on "Download Google Toolbar". It will prompt you with another screen displaying the "Terms and Conditions", you must click on Agree and Install in order to begin the installation. |

If you have one of the latest versions of Firefox, it may block the toolbar from being installed. You will notice a bar atop your screen that will read, "To protect your computer, Firefox prevented...". All the way to the right of this bar it will have a button labeled "Edit Options". Click on that button. |

This will prompt the following box, "Allowed Sites - Software Installation" will appear. Here the web address "toolbar.google.com" will already be displayed and you only have to click on "Allow to add the website to the trusted list. |

You will now notice that the url has moved to the box below and joined the other allowed sites. |

When complete please click "Close". This will now bring you back to the "Terms and Conditions" page. Here you can click Agree and Install once again and you will notice the install begin to take place. |

A "Software Installation" box will appear with a count down to when you can install the product. Clicking "Install" will prompt the another box, "Extensions" to pop up and begin the download and silent install. |

Once done it will display "Google Toolbar for Firefox will be installed when Firefox is restarted". At this point, please close the extensions box and please close Firefox. |

When you reopen Firefox you will see the Google Toolbar appear, just as it does in Internet Explorer (IE). |
